Covering three days at Fira Barcelona Gran Via
ICE moved from London to Barcelona in 2025, and the organiser calls 2024 its last London edition. Both Barcelona editions so far ran at Fira Barcelona Gran Via, on 20–22 January 2025 and 19–21 January 2026, and we covered exhibitors at both. The organiser lists ICE Barcelona 2027 for 18–20 January 2027 at the same venue.
Attendance figures for each edition are in our ICE Barcelona 2027 dates, venue and attendance guide. At ICE 2025, a crowd gathered round Magnus Carlsen’s chess table on the Betby stand, some of them holding up phones.
For 2027 the organiser lists opening hours of 10:00–18:00 CET on the first day and 10:00–16:00 CET on the last, so the last day is two hours shorter.
What we shot at ICE, client by client
- Betby, 2025. One full day of 7 hours, plus an hour on day 2. The expo recap shows the new stand, a caricaturist and Magnus Carlsen. We filmed Carlsen at the stand for 3 hours: a press conference with Betby’s CEO, a meet and greet, one-on-one chess and a raffle. Betby got the recap, a Carlsen video, a full recap Reel and a Carlsen Reel delivered the same day by 18:00. We also cut the press conference separately for its moderator, Pierre Lindh, and photographed Carlsen’s visit and meetings on the stand.
- Gamzix, 2025. The second full expo day, with a tarot fortune teller, the Gary Goose mascot, a claw machine, a cocktail bar and a host, cut into a full-day recap. We covered Gamzix again in 2026.
- Mancala Gaming, 2025. A 4-hour video package: a horizontal recap with team interviews and a Reel for social.
- Greentube, 2026. Two 4-hour half-days. The recap includes an interview with Opher Ben-Zvi, and the same hours gave a vertical Reel.
- Slotegrator, 2026. Two short sessions on different days, 2 hours in total. The recap centres on the rebranded booth and includes a short interview with the COO. We also shot portraits of two Slotegrator team members.
- Satchel, 2026. 1 hour on each of two days. That gave a recap with a team interview about White-Label, BaaS and the partner referral program, plus three single-interview cuts with Karolina, Tautvydas and Vaida.
What exhibitors book at ICE
Across the two Barcelona editions, the bookings fall into a few kinds:
- Short sessions on more than one day. Slotegrator and Satchel each had 2 hours in total, split over two days, so their footage comes from more than one day of the show.
- Half-days. Greentube took 4 hours on each of two days, and Mancala Gaming one 4-hour video package. Four hours on site is also the length of the Standard package, which includes one interview and one Reel alongside photos delivered the same day.
- A full day around one moment. Betby’s day covered the stand, the caricaturist and Carlsen’s visit, from the press conference to the raffle.
- Interviews. Mancala Gaming, Greentube, Slotegrator and Satchel all have interviews in their videos.
- A recap and Reels from the same hours. Betby, Mancala Gaming and Greentube each got a horizontal recap and at least one vertical Reel.
Planning your coverage for ICE Barcelona 2027
Tell us which of the three days you will be on the floor, how long you want us at the stand each day, and what the coverage should produce: photos, Reels, interviews or a recap. A proposal comes back within 24 hours. What each package includes, from the 2-hour Start upward, is in the pricing table, and if you want only stills or only video, you can book event photography or event videography on its own.
Before the show, settle these with your stand team:
- Put the big frames on Monday or Tuesday. The show closes at 16:00 on Wednesday, so the team photo and the full-stand shots belong on the first two days.
- Send the times of anything scheduled. A press conference, a guest or a raffle needs its own slot in the plan.
- Arrange a seat and a fast connection for our team. Same-day photos at ICE depend on both.
We are registered in Prague, and both times ICE has been held in Barcelona we travelled there to cover exhibitors.
